Some of the attractive things that are not to be missed while holidaying in Fuerteventura include shopping, water sports, golfing, mountain biking and cycling, and fiestas.
The island of Fuerteventura has a complete variety of shops and centers that cater to the requirements of all the locals as well as the foreign tourists. One of the mind-boggling features of Fuerteventura shops are that they are specially designed in such a manner that they can easily cope with its climatic conditions.

Golf is a highly famous sport found on the Fuerteventura Island. Many golfers go on holiday here and stay in self catering holiday apartments and holiday villas. The very first golf course was created on this island in the Caleta de Fuste.
It is a really brilliant course that is specially designed by the popular Juan Catarineu. Despite the little rain and constant sunshine in Fuerteventura, the golf course has charming greens. Also, the winds offer a great challenge to all the golfers.
The golf course features a chipping area, putting green, practice bunker and driving range. The island's course is primarily made around holiday villa complexes and many of such villas are also available to rent.

The fourth thing that the travelers of Fuerteventura can take pleasure in is its events and fiestas. The island is popularly known as the La Isla Tranquila but this travel destination is always busy with fiestas, general meetings, market fairs and sporting events.
Apart from the regular markets held at Caleta de Fuste and Corralejo, there are numerous social gatherings and fairs organized all through the year as well.

I would always advocate a villa holiday in Fuerteventura but make sure that you pay with a live booking facility and a credit card. Your payments are then protected. Villa holidays are the best way to have true family time in complete privacy. Owners who provide live booking and credit card payments are more likely to provide you with the security you need to book a villa with an unknown owner.
